To file for divorce (aka dissolution) in California, you must meet the residency requirements. To do so, you must live in the state for six months and the county for three months immediately prior to filing your Petition.

If you do not meet these requirements, there are still steps you can take to move forward. Contact the attorneys at Claery & Hammond, LLP today to discuss your options.
