Explanation of ATROs in Dissolution

Upon filing and serving a Summons and Petition for dissolution both parties are automatically restrained from the following actions:

1. Removing the minor child(ren) from the state without prior written permission from the court and/or the other parent

2. Cancelling or changing the beneficiaries on your insurance policies

3. Transferring property (including, but not limited to, homes, cars, checking accounts, 401K, etc.)

4. Spending money on out-of-the-ordinary items
